Kenedi graduated from Kent State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and the goal of being a high school history teacher. Two days after graduation, Missy Petit of LIFT Kids sent her a job listing for a high school history teacher in Haiti. Kenedi had always had a heart for missions that started with stories of her grandma’s mission trips and continued on trips to serve with LIFT Kids in Haiti, and this was the perfect opportunity. She spent the next 4 years teaching at Morning Star Christian Academy in Haiti. In May 2022, God led Kenedi and her husband Matthew to begin working full-time for Loving the Least of These Ministries International (LTLT). They went to the States to raise support with One Plus God (OPG) serving as their sending organization. While gone, Haiti’s condition deteriorated to the point that they could not return to minister there as planned.

Still committed to missions, ministry, and Haiti, Kenedi will continue in her role as Communications Coordinator for LTLT, and is also now Support Staff for OPG! These roles include marketing, grant driving, and social media, and for LTLT in particular, website design and support-raising. Kenedi is so excited for the opportunity to continue in missions ministry even though she cannot return to the mission field.
