Biography

After working for a large corporation for nine years, David and his wife Kathy started Bethel Engineering and Equipment where he currently serves as president. Bethel designs and manufactures finishing systems for the industrial market.

Through the years David has been involved in many areas of Christian service ranging from Youth Leader to Sunday School Teacher to several different Church Board positions.

David received his first taste of international short-term missions outreach in 1988 while visiting the Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology in Kenya. Since then, he has had a heart for missions and the people God has called into full time service. So much so, that in 1990 when he and Kathy were on their honeymoon in Jamaica they took a day to visit two missionary families and hand deliver 50 bibles they had tucked away in their luggage.

David has served on short-term trips multiple times in Haiti, as well as Mexico, Asia, and the U.S.. His business travels have also taken him to many international locations, and he always tries to spend some time learning about the culture. At the very least, he prays for the people around him.

David serves One Plus God Ministries on the Board as well as helping to plan travel for outreaches.

Testimony

While attending college, he accepted Christ as his savior and became involved with Sigma Theta Epsilon, a men’s Christian Fraternity. He also participated in prison ministry through the Gideons.
